1. Acceptance

By using Black Tutor Network ("BTN", "we", "us"), operated by Studio Kurokiku LLC, you agree to these Terms.

2. Eligibility

Tutors must be 18+. Parents and caregivers act on behalf of minors and are responsible for supervision.

3. Tutor obligations

Tutors must provide accurate information, hold valid credentials when claiming the Certified Teacher badge, and disclose any legal action involving minors. Such disclosures result in automatic refusal.

4. Payments and payouts

Payments are processed via Stripe. Tutors receive 85% of the hourly rate. Payouts are sent via PayPal every Monday evening (US Eastern Time) for the prior week's completed sessions.

6. Community boards

BTN provides community boards as a convenience. We are not responsible for kids' clubs organized through the boards. Parents must conduct their own due diligence.

7. Premium subscription

Home Ed Premium is $29.95/month for up to 10 children per family. Cancel anytime; access continues through the paid period.

8. Liability

BTN is a marketplace and is not liable for the conduct or quality of services delivered by tutors. Use the platform at your own discretion.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or our safety policies.
